Judging
What is the FWT judging system ?
The overall impression of the rider’s run will determine his final score. Among others, the choice of the line, the fluidity of the run and the level of control while riding the face will be key criteria judges will take into consideration for deciding for the final overall impression score.
Who are the FWT judges ?
The riders are judged by a panel of 6 judges (3 ski and 3 snowboard), which is trained and certified by the Pro Freeriders Board (PFB) and led by Jon Orarback (Head Judge Ski), and Berti Denervaud (Head Judge Snowboard).
What is the Judging Method ?
Jon Orarback and Berti Denervaud have worked on a judging method and booklet which also includes a training course for potential judges.
