d.o.b.: February 7, 1983
resides: Norway
competing since: 2005
first time one snow: 1985
my favorite spot to ride: My favourite is going to new places, but I always like it back home in Vågå
favorite maneuvers on snow: I dunno.. I try to ride the things that seems most fun to ride
most inspiring riders in freeriding history: For me personally, Norwegian riders Øystein Bakke and Jørgen Valde. Watching the pro's I'm always inspired by the ones who are innovating the sport with new lines and tricks and adding on their personal touch. Hjorleifson, Cattabriga-Alosa amongst others. Historically the french pioneers who started the whole thing, but I guess they had a greater impact on the sport, than on me personally.
And the cool thing is, many of the other names on this line-up has also inspired me much!
what does it mean to be part of the FWT: For me it's a big deal. Getting to compete with the best skiers in the world is at the least exciting. With decent weather and good snow-conditions, this could easily be my best comp-experience ever.
And I have to say, seeing Zackrisson in Claim, and having seen what the others are capable of, I'm specially stoked on competing against the swedes.
