Welcome to the ‘San Juan Showdown’, the second stop of the IFSA FWT Challenger by Orage, where the top 80 freeriders in the Americas will take on one of the last frontiers of freeride, the infamous terrain of Silverton, Colorado. Velocity Basin will host the party – a renowned backcountry skiing and snowboarding area with peaks reaching over 3,000 meters – as the FWT pens a new chapter in the Silverton story.

Silverton is located in Colorado's San Juan Mountains, an iconic destination with extremely varied terrain and exceptional snow conditions that challenge even the most seasoned riders, making it the perfect place to host a high-level freeride competition. Steep lines, technical couloirs and vast fields of pristine powder provide an ideal playground to test riders' skills, a fitting proving ground for the talented roster.
