2024 Kirkwood IFSA FWT Challenger

Nestled in the Sierra Nevada mountains of California, Kirkwood is one of the most popular freeride destinations in the USA. Kirkwood is known for its blizzards and deep snowpack, with single snowfalls often piling up snow that other resorts would be happy with over a season. Its terrain is equally impressive, offering a wide variety of slopes – from wide, open bowls to steep, technical couloirs and forests ideal for exploring the powder – and challenges for all levels, ensuring there is something for every rider.

These qualities have well and truly put this venue on the radar of freeride specialists, prompting the FWT to host a handful of Pro events here in the past, and this year it will host the final event of the FWT Challenger series in Region 2.
