The 2025 Open Faces Silvretta-Montafon Challenger marked a significant milestone as Silvretta Montafon hosted the second competitions of the Freeride World Tour Challenger by Orage in Region 1. This competition definitely set the bar for athletes aiming to secure their spots in the Freeride World Tour 2026.
Ski Men: Swiss Dominance

Swiss skier Paul Dentan delivered a standout performance, launching his run with one of the day’s most formidable cliffs. He followed this with a massive backflip, earning him the top spot on the podium with a score of 83pts. Close behind were compatriots Paul de Pourtalès in second place with 81.67pts and Victor Hale-Woods in third with 80pts.
Snowboard Men: French Sweep

In the snowboard men’s category, France’s César Barin claimed first place by navigating two substantial cliffs with an alpine-inspired, controlled style. The podium saw an all-French lineup, with Hugo Serra securing second (77pts) and Sacha Balicco taking third (75pts).
Ski Women: Barin’s Triumph

Lou Barin led the ski women’s division with a swift run that commenced with a double cliff drop, seamlessly transitioning into two consecutive 360° spins. She secured first place with a score of 78pts. She was trailed by Zoé Delzoppo of France in second place, with 72.33pts, and Switzerland’s Eva Battolla in third with 70pts. Both showcased aggressive lines with multiple cliff jumps.
Snowboard Women: Perrotin’s Playful Precision

Former FWT Champion Tiphanie Perrotin dominated the snowboard women’s category, delivering a fluid and playful line that combined airtime, cliff drops, and stylish grabs. She earned first place with a score of 70pts. Austrian rider Sarah Bacher earned second place (66pts), while New Zealand’s Briony Johnson completed the podium in third (63pts).
