The FIS Freeride World Tour returns to Tetnuldi Resort for Stop 4, with the Georgia Pro confirmed for Saturday, February 22. Due to safety concerns, the venue moves from Kakhiani to Kaseb, a safer, high-altitude face at 3,400m. The live broadcast starts at 2:00 PM GET / 11:00 AM CET, with first drops at 2:15 PM GET / 11:15 AM CET. Dropping order: Snowboard Men, Snowboard Women, Ski Women, Ski Men. Stay tuned for updates.

The Kaseb face presents a steep, technical challenge for riders, packed with large natural features that will demand high commitment and precision. At 3,400m, Kaseb marks the highest start elevation on the FWT season, adding an extra layer of difficulty due to the altitude.
With a summit elevation of 3,400m and a finish line at 3,025m, Kaseb features a vertical drop of 375m. The South-West facing slope has an average steepness of 36°, with sections reaching up to 42°.

FWT Georgia Pro Competition Confirmed

Following extensive safety work, the Freeride World Tour remains on track for Saturday, February 22nd. However, after assessment by the FWT Commissioner and mountain guides, the Kakhiani face was deemed unsafe.

The competition will now take place on Kaseb, a South-West facing face with better snow stability and visibility for safer, high-quality competition. The event is scheduled for the afternoon, with live coverage starting at 2:00 PM GET / 11:00 AM CET and the first rider dropping at 2:15 PM GET / 11:15 AM CET.

His deep knowledge of the terrain and freestyle background could be key advantages as he takes on the world’s best freeriders.

The 2024 Georgia Pro went off in perfect conditions on the Kakhiani face, with deep, dry snow inspiring huge performances across all categories. Victor de Le Rue dominated the Snowboard Men’s field, claiming his third consecutive victory, while Núria Castán Barón took the top spot in Snowboard Women with a fast, fluid line. In Ski Women, Sybille Blanjean secured her spot in the Finals with a massive, smooth run, while Marcus Goguen blew minds in Ski Men, scoring an almost-perfect 98 with a mix of big spins and backflips.
