The Kicking Horse Pro takes place on the famous Ozone face, a technical venue that has been part of the tour since 2018. Starting at 2,504 meters, riders face a vertical drop of 324 meters, navigating steep pitches with gradients up to 44 degrees. The face is packed with tight chutes, cliffs, and technical lines that demand precision and courage, making Ozone a standout challenge for the world's top freeriders.

In 2024, snow conditions on Ozone shifted the competition to the T1 South face, but the action didn’t disappoint. Anna Martinez took first in Snowboard Women with a fluid, fast-paced run, while Victor de Le Rue dominated Snowboard Men, pulling off a huge double and smooth 360. Astrid Cheylus claimed her maiden FWT win in Ski Women, landing a big backflip, and Max Hitzig made it two in a row in Ski Men with a dynamic, high-speed performance.
