The iconic Bec des Rosses in Verbier rises to 3,223 meters with a 600-meter vertical drop. It demands both skill and bravery, as riders must navigate a multitude of challenges while maintaining control and style. 30 Years of Xtreme Verbier: A Legacy of Freeride Excellence
Celebrating its 30th anniversary, the YETI Xtreme Verbier by Honda stands as the most iconic event in freeride history. Since its inception in 1996, it has evolved from a snowboard-only contest into the ultimate stage for the world’s best freeriders, becoming the official Freeride World Tour Finals in 2008. Over the past three decades, Bec des Rosses has tested the limits of elite athletes, producing unforgettable moments and crowning legends of the sport. Freeride skiing and snowboarding’s pinnacle event, the YETI Xtreme Verbier, is taking on a fresh look as Honda Switzerland steps up as the Presenting Partner for the 2025 edition. Scheduled from March 22-30, 2025, the event will showcase not only world-class athletes but also Honda’s latest innovations in mobility. This includes the new lineup of electrified vehicles, highlighted by the cutting-edge Honda CR-V, available in full hybrid and plug-in hybrid versions.
