2025 Junior World Championships Competition Confirmed
The countdown is over! The 2025 YETI Freeride Junior World Championships Kappl by Dynastar are officially set to begin on Monday, January 13, at 10:00 AM CET in Kappl, Austria. This prestigious event will feature 64 of the world’s most talented young freeriders from 16 countries, ready to compete on one of the sport's most iconic stages.
Returning to the pristine powder fields of Kappl, the event promises thrilling action as these rising stars carve their way into freeride history. The 2025 YETI Freeride Junior World Championships by Dynastar is a key step in the Freeride World Tour Pyramid, offering young athletes the platform to shine and progress within the freeride community.
The competition will feature:
- 27 Ski Men
- 15 Ski Women
- 13 Snowboard Men
- 9 Snowboard Women
This year, three defending champions are returning to defend their titles:
- Teagan Rilee Turner (USA), Snowboard Women
- Kea Chretien (FRA), Snowboard Men
- Jana Hausl (AUT), Ski Women
