Bansko Freeride Junior 3* Returns: Bulgaria’s Rising Stars Shine on Snow

The 2025 Freeride Bansko Junior 3*, organized by Bansko Freeride, made an electrifying return to the majestic Pirin Mountains for its second edition. Part of the Freeride World Tour Junior series, the event once again gave Bulgaria’s young talent a stage to showcase their skills against an international field.

Despite variable snow conditions, quick thinking and strong organization led to a venue change, ensuring a safe and thrilling day of competition - proof of the team’s professionalism and commitment.

Ski Women U-14: Pashkova Leads with Style

Mila Pashkova dominated the U-14 field with a confident, composed run scoring 60 points. Ema Aleksandrova took second with 43.33, and Emma Madina rounded out the podium at 39.33. A promising trio for Bulgaria’s freeride future.

Ski Men U-14: Balevski Stands Out

Nikola Balevski set the bar high with a top score of 79.33, besting Dominik Novak (CZE) with 71.33 and Pavel Georgiev Markov at 67.33. Tight scores reflected a stacked field of young talent.

Ski Men U-16: Trandafir Takes the Lead

Romania’s Toma Trandafir delivered a commanding run, earning 84.33 to take first. Ivo Balevski followed with 75, while Martin Pashkov secured third with 70. A category packed with technical skill and intensity.

Snowboard Women U-18: Simova Stays Solid

Maria Simova brought home the win with 71.67, leading the Snowboard Women U-18 division with confidence and control.

Snowboard Men U-18: Abadjiev Impresses

Eliyan Abadjiev soared to victory with a score of 73.67, marking a standout performance for the Bulgarian snowboarding community.

Ski Women U-18: Nedeva Takes It

Margarita Nedeva captured the Ski Women U-18 title with a consistent run and a score of 45, navigating a competitive field with poise.

Ski Men U-18: Shopov Secures the Win

Bogdan Shopov led the way with 10 points, edging out Rodin Popivantchev and Denis Markov. While scores were lower in this division, determination ran high across all athletes.
