Freeride World Tour by Peak Performance releases brand new podcast

No Fall Zone - the Freeride Podcast

FWT by Peak Performance is proud to announce the release of its latest podcast season, taking you into the minds of FWT snowboarders and skiers like never before. This year’s host is Dave Mailman – who has been the voice of the FWT since the beginning, starting as a host – supported by long-time FWT photographer Dom Daher. These two FWT personalities know the Tour better than anyone else, perfectly positioning them to lift the curtain and give fans a glimpse of what life is really like for FWT athletes.

The podcast will be comprised of somewhat structured interviews with the riders, where Dave attempts to unveil the inner workings of the many different characters on the Tour. They go into unchartered territory with each interviewee, showcasing profound insights exclusive to the series. This allows viewers to discover the individuals behind the herculean-like athletes they see on competition day, and how their personalities help them perform under pressure.

Who is behind the No Fall Zone?

Dave Mailman studied French at the University of California in Los Angeles and the University of Bordeaux, before moving to France from California in 1994. He has enjoyed a range of professional positions, including Editor of Onboard European Snowboard Magazine, Marketing Director at Quiksilver Europe, President of the Association of Surfing Professionals (ASP) Europe, and writer and presenter of the EpicTV Surf Report, as well as keynote speaker at the FWT and other events. He currently works in audio-visual post-production, writing scripts and voice-overs for TV broadcasts of the FWT and the FIM EnduroGP World Championship.

Dom Daher has been one of the main photographers on the FWT since 2008. He is a former professional skier, competing in freeride competitions in the late nineties, before he moved into journalism and photography. Dom is a member of the Red Bull Photography network, and has a strong knowledge of extreme sports, owing to his years of experience shooting in this field across the globe. Dom is also the co-founder of www.neufdixieme.com, an outdoor photojournalism platform for media.
