While he never claimed a world title on the FWT, his time competing against the world’s best freeriders significantly sharpened his ability to assess challenging terrain at high speeds.
About his Motivation
Being all the time one of the chasers behind those leaders was pushing my level of skiing as I had to do more to follow them and perform better to try have a winning run.
The Freeride World Tour provided Heitz with invaluable experience, teaching him how to push his limits safely while maintaining precision. Competing at such a high level, where the stakes are always intense, also helped him develop the mental toughness and competitive edge necessary to tackle some of the world’s most difficult and technical lines.
